Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Anita, and I am one of Dr. Helton's dental assistants who has been a part of the team since October 2008.   I feel that working in dentistry is the best career choice for me because I truly enjoy the challenge of fixing broken, discolored teeth.  I understand when our patients feel anxious about their treatment and work hard to make sure that every person we treat is comfortable and leaves our practice with a big smile on their face! Dr. Helton is a wonderful dentist. She is the happiest person I know, and her positive attitude makes each day at this practice a great day. When I'm not at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Aaron, and our five children, Brant, Jeff, Allegra, Kylee, and Connor. I enjoy attending my children's sporting events, going boating, home decorating and remodeling, and I also like to sew.

Dental Hygienist

My name is Ashley and I joined the Dentistry on 116 team in May 2008, my favorite part of being one of Dr. Helton's dental hygienists is the education and exceptional technology she provides us to help take care of our patients.  The digital camera is my favorite piece of technology I use every day.  The detailed pictures I take allow you to see exactly what we see in your mouth! I enjoy meeting new people and having the opportunity to maintain healthy, clean smiles. I strive to be personable and gentle to make visits as easy and comfortable as possible!  If you have ever dreamed about lying in bed and having a TV on your ceiling...then you will LOVE our dental office!  During appointments, you can enjoy DIRECTV channels. I love working with Dr. Helton. She makes everybody who is around her feel welcome. I grew up in the country and am the youngest of four children. My husband, Derick, is wonderful, and I am truly blessed to have two amazing sons, Kyler and Jaxstin.  In my free time, I love visiting with family and friends, spending time outdoors, volunteering at our church, and playing sports.

Office Coordinator/ Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Hi, I'm Julie, and I am pleased to welcome you and your family to Dentistry on 116. I am the office coordinator, who joined the practice in January 2008, and you will most likely see me each time you visit our practice.  I am here to help you schedule appointments and answer any financial questions that you may have. I like working in dentistry, especially getting to know our patients and their families. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of helping our patients, and I strive to make each dental visit as comfortable and convenient as possible. Dr. Helton makes our practice a fun place to be, and she treats everybody with respect. When you visit our practice, you will smile and laugh, and most importantly, you will enjoy your time spent with us. Outside of the practice, I enjoy playing softball and tennis, going to sporting events and concerts (I have seen Dave Mathews Band 32 times), traveling, and loving my beagle dog, Gracie! I also volunteer for an organization called School on Wheels.

Dental Hygienist

Hi, I'm Kate, and I have been one of Dr. Helton's dental hygienists since May 2008.  I enjoy working with people, especially when I know I am able to help them achieve good oral health. I love to laugh and joke with my patients, but I also like to educate them and provide information about maintaining a healthy smile. Dr. Helton provides the best dental care to our patients. Our team stays up to date with continuing education in order to offer the most advanced procedures and services to our patients. Outside of the practice, I enjoy exercising, being outdoors, going on vacations, boating, and spending time with Zach, my wonderful husband, and my chocolate lab, Sally. I also enjoy hunting and fishing.

Lauri

Expanded Dental Assistant

Hi, my name is Lauri and I have been with Dentistry on 116 since we opened in July 2007. As one of Dr. Helton's dental assistants, I help sculpt teeth and recreate smiles. It's important to me that patients feel comfortable in our office, so I may grab you a blanket, walk you through your treatment plan or just have a casual conversation. My favorite thing about working in dentistry is when our patients appreciate, understand and are comfortable with the treatments they have received.  Dr. Helton is a great dentist. She is always focused on that quality of care she provides. I also have a great deal of respect for my team, and I love spending time with them each day. When I'm not busy at the practice, I enjoy spending time at home with my husband, Brian, and our son, Issac. We have two Shih Tzu's named Choy and Thai, who always make us smile. I love being a mom, but I also enjoy going on the occasional "date night" with my husband!

Dental Hygienist

Hi, my name is Ashley. I joined Dentistry on 116 in June 2011 as one of Dr. Helton's dental hygienists.  I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them feel comfortable during every dental appointment. My favorite part of my job is getting to meet new people and educating my patients about their oral care. I strive to keep up with the latest advances in dental health by attending continuing education classes annually. I love working for Dr. Helton because she puts everyone at ease with her upbeat personality and she genuinely cares about every patient.  When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am grateful to have an amazing husband, Eric, and a wonderful son named Kaden.  As a family, we enjoy camping, boating, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends.

Office Coordinator/Dental Assistant

Hi, I am Stefany and I would like to welcome you and your family to our office. I have been with Dentistry on 116 since February 2011. As one of Dr. Helton's office coordinators, you will most likely meet me at the end of your appointment. I am here to help you schedule appointments and to answer any financial or insurance questions you may have. You may also find me helping out our clinical team. Our office is up to date with the newest and greatest technology and procedures. I love getting to know all of our patients and love seeing how happy they are when they leave their appointment. Dr. Helton is a very respectable dentist and you can tell that she truly loves what she does. Outside the office, I am enjoying my newlywed life with my husband, Shane. We have two dogs, Gypsie and Fletcher, who I consider my babies. I love traveling to visit family, spending time with friends, and spending time outdoors.
